SMALLVILLE renewed early

While talking to reporters yesterday in Pasadena, CA at the Television Critics Association winter meeting, representatives of the WB announced genre smash SMALLVILLE will be returning to their schedule next season. This announcement comes four months before renewal notices are usually made.
This report comes hot on the heels of news reported here yesterday that a new version of SCOOBY-DOO will be hitting the network's Saturday morning programming.
