Warner Home Video has announced that it will bring the first season of the smash TV series SMALLVILLE to DVD this fall. All 21 episodes from the 2001 season (including the pilot) will be packaged on the six DVD set. As well, series creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar will provide a commentary on the pilot and the second episode ""Metamorphosis". Pilot director David Nutter will also be included on the first commentary.
And there's more bonus material. Deleted scenes from two episodes, a storyboard to screen featurette, an interactive tour of the Smallville town, television promotional spots, production notes and access to the show's official website via DVD-ROM will also be included. All the episodes will be presented in widescreen anamorphic format.
SMALLVILLE: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON will arrive on September 23 from Warner Home Video. The retail price is $64.92.
