@therockdltj Fear not it hasn't slipped back just a slip of Rob's fingers.
Look at the tiny dragon sequence, could that be the destruction of Dale and the coming of Smaug. These are stone buildings and Laketown was wooden buildings on stilts like a town of crannogs. Could this be part of the addition material PJ mentioned.
One does not simply watch every trailer released because I'd rather stay surprised, it is folly!
Holy crap darth who is that amazing creature as your avatar this time?!?!?!?
and I agree about watching the trailers, I've skipped several lately.
I have sworn off all trailers! And no more TORN for another week... I really don't recall seeing any for LOTR (although I'm sure they were out there). I think that had a lot to do why I was so blown away in the first 5 minutes of FOTR. I feel like I've definitely spoiled it a touch for this go around. Either way these movies will rock!
Ok, now I'm kind of excited. I haven't been until this trailer perhaps because this one gives a glimpse of the epic scope of the adventure rather than playing up the quirkiness of a bumbling hobbit and 12 merry dwarves.
