Kingsley would be awesome as Vulture but Malkovich is just about equal with him in the same regard.  Yeah, I don't know what that guy was talking when he was talking about grounded in reality with Sandman and Venom as villains in the latest ones; maybe, MAYBE Dr.Octobpus and Green Goblin might be plausible in a far fetched kind of way but they definitely busted the reality bubble with Venom and Sandman - but that's only not mentioning Spider-Man himself though.  That jackass is crazy - grounded in reality.  Maybe he got Spider-Man and Batman mixed up somehow.

That Vultress bullcrap is definitely a rumor, it has to be.  But it is scary that Black Cat could very well be owned by somebody else and that they might change her character to The Vultress, with Hollywood it wouldn't surprise me.  It wouldn't surprise me if it happened like this:  DC made Catwoman and before it bombed somebody bought up the rights to Black Cat and then decided not to make it when Catwoman went the way of the Hindenberg.  Now,maybe  Marvel has no choice but to change it and make Toomes a Hardy instead and have Spider-Man go against him and the "Vultress" later finding out the chick that he digs 'Felciia Hardy' is actually the Vultress. Later, he gets her to change her ways and go up against her father.  Yeah, I wouldn't put it past Hollywood to try and pull that.  Though, I doubt Sam Raimi would jack up history that bad.

As for Batman number Three...  I know something you don't know....

My middle name is Lee.

Hey, I didn't say it was related.  Well, okay, I guess, I kind of did.

MALKOVICH WILL NOY BE VULTURE or anything else in this piss poor franchise.

The Venom movie by th Zombieland guys will be better. Malkovich ran from Green Goblin when they offered it to him bfore Dafoe.

I still stand by my saying that Raimi needs to do Mysterio and the Lizard at some point.  Not neccessarily together, but with his background, I think he could make an AMAZING movie using those characters.

And whoever thought "The Vultress" was a good idea needs to be slapped.  Repeatedly.

Putting the whole Malkovich thing aside, SonymanSwallows, I'm starting to think that your name is a bit of a clue that you aren't the biggest fan of Sony, which is clouding your opinion of the Spidey films.

I think the Malkovich rumor is just that a rumor. I remember when Spidey 1 came out Malkovich was courted to play Norman Osborn/Green Goblin, but he snubbed it. If I remember correctly he said something to the effect of “ I don’t do those kinds (comic book) of movies” or “I don’t find comic book films all that interesting.” Then went on to play Cyrus in Con-Air. (which I loved). I mean con-air was fun, but how is Cyrus a better character than Norman Osbourne. Doesn't matter anyway, DaFoe Nailed the performance.

But it seems ol’ Johnny boy has changed his tune now about the status of comic book movies.

I think he’s be a great Vulture, just think it’s interesting how he’s had a major change of heart. And now Comic Book movies (specifically the 3rd sequel to the movie he turned down) aren’t beneath him.

Think some of you are right, the vultress thing is a smoke screen. not sure how anyone can say the spiderman franchise sucks. But im sure some of those are the same delusional people who thinks the same of the transformers. Sure the 3rd one was a bit off..but still not unwatchable, was pretty good just bad when u compare it to 1 & 2.

I think Malkovich is getting old and wants to make some big bank towards the end of his career. Thats why all of a sudden comic book movies arent beneath him now. I think there is a good chance of seeing him in spidey 4

Malkovich as the vulture is actually a good match. Lets not forget that he could just be a minor charachter appearance making things more apparenet that the spidey franchise will be doing a sinister six story line for Spiderman 6.

As long as the catwoman is modeled after the 1980's catwoman from the batman animated series is portrayed and not some halle berry knock off of the failed Cat movie it could work. And lets get someone like Rosario Dawson to be the cat in black leather.

I'm a huge Malkovich fan, but it wouldn't be the right movie for him. His personality doesn't really vibe well with this kind of movie. If Nolan were doing a 3rd Batman though, I could see him being the Riddler....that's only if he were willing to accept the movie role.

Vulture would be good to do in the next Spiderman offering, but I still think they should just bring on The Lizard because the material is already there.

Calibur454, I like where you're head is at with Rosario Dawson as Catwoman....I hadn't thought of her, but I do like the idea!
