The Review!
After 7 years of rumor, guessing and unwilling to continue the series from the producer, the new Sol Bianca series has finally made to my house. ^_^ As a huge fan of the original Sol Bianca Movies from ADV, I have very high hope and expectations for this series, and so far it has not fall short of any of my expectations yet.

As most of the review for the disc are done has already done by Chris, most of my review will be a comparison review with the original Movies.

The audio for this DVD is far better than most of the DVD I have watched on my ROM, even though I don't have a 5.1 system, I still can hear the loud and heavy audio stream of 5.1 audio track.

Like Bubblegum Crisis 2040 to Bubblegum Crisis OAV, the character design has changed a lot from the original, as the character looked a lot lively and drawing looked a lot sharper, as we should expect from the improvement of Animation these days.
Their personality stayed mostly the same as Feb is still a hopeless alcoholic and man hungry playgirl; Jun is still the computer expert on the ship; the gun fanatic is still Jan; April is only one they have changed a bit, she seems a bit greedy and childish than the OAV series, however she is still the leader, even in the original she was not the Captain; as for Mayo, this Disc didn't show her much so there can't be comparison for her yet.

Even though Chris has mentioned these, I really like the DVD Menu, I think only "You're Under Arrest: The Movie" DVD has a better and more animation ( I heard Cowboy Bebop has a animated menu, but I haven't got mine yet ) Menu than this DVD, I guess we should find out later why we are all those trees growing around in the Menu during the show?

The show itself I think is better than the original movies even though it is a bit slower, but it has already developed some interesting character unlike the movie which are just go around the blow things up. I think Chris has already reviewed the episodes, so I will save you from my really bad English writing by not writing my version out, ^_-.

From a point of view of a old fan of Sol Bianca Movies, I say this series is a must have. I was so eager to get this DVD, I had to FEDEX a extra copy after my original copy was shipped (because I live in Canada, it will take forever with airmail), now I am going to end up with 2 copies with me, anyone want buy a copy from me? ^_^
