Millar loves the movie...I just hope he doesn't blow the big bag of money they threw at him...I can't blame him really. There are no "super villains" in this film...they are a league of assassins not supervillains who have taken over everything. Themovielord, I suggest when giving them your money to see this flick forget EVERYTHING you know about the book...don't set yourself up for a letdown.

I thought the Ultimate Spidey book was for people who liked a forever young Spider-Man in modern time? This isn't backlash from fanboys who are against change or a new direction....can this even be considered a new direction? So far it seems like steps backwards than forward. JQ waved his magic wand and wiped away that silly marriage and now Marvels writers no longer have that HUGE obsticle in their way preventing them from writing good storys for petey. They should just throw continuity out the window completely...seriously, it seems to get in the way for Marvel and DC alike.

Ahhhh....all that swallowing must have affected your eyesight Sonyboy.....Guy Gardner has never been fat....never been portly . NEVER...EVERS. I see you have enough of a life that you don't obsess about comic book stories if and when they're made into movies, but not enough of a life that you had the time to type out two paragraphs about how you hate"fanboys"complaining about them.

They have basically taken the superhero/villain aspect out of the film and placed this "fraternity" of assassins in the place of the supervillain element. Of course there were going to have to be some changes to the film, since many of the characters in the book were direct ripoffs of other heroes and characters....but to me you can't make a Batman movie and just have a guy named Bruce Wayne who fights crime, but doesn't dress up in a costume and fights regular guys named Joker and Two-Face....and IMO you can't make a decent WANTED movie where Wesley Gibson doesn't find out his assassinated father was a super-baddie and inherits his persona and that supervillains secretly control the world that he lives in. That's just me.
