In an interview with Sci Fi Wire, BLADE: TRINITY writer/director David Goyer spoke about his work on developing a remake of the 1973 dystopic sci-fi feature SOYLENT GREEN. The movie is in development at Warner Bros. and Goyer is currently involved with it as a producer.

One of the problems with remaking SOYLENT GREEN is getting around the issue that nearly everyone knows what the title really refers to in the film, a secret that doesn't come out until the final moments of the film. Goyer believes that he's solved this problem. "I will say that the reveal at the end of the first movie happened at the end of our first act," he told the website. "So the first movie is kind of the first act of our film, and then it's about what happens afterwards."

Goyer's involvement on producing the new GREEN is part of his one-year first-look deal with the movie studio. For more on the subject hit Sci Fi Wire.
