Spaceballs Extended Soundtrack Available Now

By: Randall Larson
Date: Wednesday, January 31, 2007

La-La Land Records has just released the complete score to the beloved 1987 Mel Brooks sci-fi spoof Spaceballs, starring Rick Moranis, John Candy, and Bill Pullman. Acclaimed composer John Morris, who has collaborated with Brooks on all of his classic comedies (including Blazing Saddles, The Producers, History Of The World Part 1, Silent Movie, High Anxiety and The Twelve Chairs) expertly propels Spaceballs with a robust orchestral score that nimbly fuses epic science-fiction adventure, comedy and action. It is presented here in its entirety for the first time, with a slew of bonus tracks featuring alternate takes and tracks composed for, but not used in the film. CD Booklet contains exclusive liner notes.

This is a limited edition of 3000 units.

Apparently a rock where they don't get news for two months.

I actually pre-ordered it when it was announced, and have one of the even more limited edition autographed copies.
