For four and a half decades Ennio Morricone has produced seminal work for film. He has notched up a phenomenal tally of film projects to his name, which eclipses the output of most all other film composers. In November, Morricone will turn 77 years old, yet he is still slaving away in his study in Rome producing top-grade scores.
