Man. I absolutely didn't want to see it, but then I just now found out that Charisma Carpenter is in it...I don't usually watch movies for hot chicks, but she is my one exception...damn it.

Sure to attract the interest of any action fan of 1980s cinema, director Sylvester Stallone filmed an interesting scene over the weekend for his next action flick, The Expendables. With most of the film's lensing already in the can, the director found time in their schedules to shoot a scene between Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis. The film's production blog, Ethelmae's Blog, described the excitement felt on the set after watching these three action icons come together to shoot what is being described as a pivotal set-up to the merc storyline.
After Arnold, Bruce and Sly went through the scene a couple of times they all 3 headed off to wardrobe and make-up. at 8:10am with three cameras rolling the biggest action icons of our time went to work. I thought it was electric in Brazil when all of The Expendables stepped on set – but today was atomic!!!! the whole crew was mesmerized as we watched the three of them play off of each other in a pivotal scene that sets up the whole movie. And while I can’t/don’t want to give too much away I can tell you that Arnold’s character is Trench and Bruce is Church, the scene was shot in an empty church without extras and minimal set dec and it has tension and humor – what more can a girl ask for! Sly was in top form as a director today and was in total command. Bruce and Arnold were consummate professionals at all times – we got through the scene quickly without compromise. In 6 hours we did wide shots, close-ups, turned around…the whole nine yards…pretty impressive. Very Clint Eastwood.
With the EPK cameras rolling the three of them talked to me about working together for the first time and it is very funny…can’t wait to see that piece of footage land somewhere! Karen Ballard also took some great shots – we are going to release a shot as soon as we go through the approval process which is why I am not posting anything today. But I will have it posted as soon as we release it.

This is an action movie fan's must-see. Not looking for these guys to do a scene from Macbeth. Just some good tough guy banter.
WOW i CANT WAIT WAIT FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!! Arnold is my FAV of all time..love his movies! I think Sly is a pretty damn good action director. I thought RAMBO was amazing! This movie is full of almost every amazing action star out there now and a few from the past!! Its going to be AMAZING I bet!!
Arnie is still my man, too bad age catches up to everyone
Sly should return Arnie the favor of what he did in Twins. Walk by a recent pix poster of Arnold at the beach in swim trunks and then take off his shirt and laugh at Arnold, since Sly looks much better nowadays
These 3 together must've been a blast, I can only imagine the stories about buying Depends, running out of geritol, Arnie and Sly sharing steroid secrets, ah good times, good times
Wow. Can't wait. Arnold is the Governator of my childhood. Sly was the lieutenant. Willis was the man-at-arms. This is going to rock even if it sucks.
As if I couldn't be any more excited about this movie!! All that's missing is a Robocop cameo....
DarthDuck you just read my mind dood!!! HOLY CRAP!!! If that happened...well i dunno but i know i would have to clean my pants!...lol
The trailer/footage they released for The Expendables killed all expectations/hope I had for this film. It looked like crap, straight to dvd type stuff no different than what Lundgren, Van Damme, Segal, Snipes have been doing for the past few years except with a better cast which is really the main hook for this film.
I hoped it would be more inline with Rambo but with the humor sprinkled in the footage it just don't look like it will.
Wrong DarthDuck, there is also missing an Action Jackson cameo!!!!
"How do you like your ribs?"
Man. I absolutely cannot wait to see this.
