After years in development, Capcom is preparing to unleash their latest installment of Resident Evil 5 onto the next generation of consoles in March. And it seems as if something special is planned on potential 360 buyers and fans of the franchise, reports Ars Technica. The website reports, through an inside source, that Microsoft is planning a special bundle pack in association with the highly anticipated title.
The special RE 5 bundle package will include the game, an exclusive RE5 NXE theme, a red Xbox 360 with a red controller, and a voucher for a free download of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix.
This bundle news is strictly rumor territory for now with no price details, hard drive size, or release date.
Resident Evil 5 is due to hit consoles March 5, 2009 in Japan and March 15, 2009 in North America and Europe.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. I own a 360 and love my 360 but still. Microsoft !?!, how about worrying more about quality control and less about gimmicky crap like this. You might actually sell more systems if people weren't constantly worried about the shelf life of the unit.
it looks great but hopping it looked more like blood than plastic red(or whatever color it is) and maybe include some stickers about RE5 or a faceplate that would make the pack more awesome
