I'm most excited about the superbowl Avatar trailer! ... oh wait, I mean The Last Airbender.  They better show it up here in Toronto.  Ever since I moved here from NJ I have dearly missed superbowl ads.  Guess I should get satellite.  I can't wait to see a full trailer though.  I'm still not convinced that Mr. Slumdog Millionaire can pull off Zuko.  I hope he proves me wrong.  Why oh why didn't they cast Rufio?

If you live in Canada and want the US Superbowl telecast for the trailers and other goodies, get the Rogers HD package. I signed up last year right before the Superbowl and was surprised to get the american telecast on one of the HD channels. I believe it's the HD theme pack. You get the west feeds of HD ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS. I believe my US telecast was on one of those.

I didn't have to suffer through crappy Canadian Tire commercials every commercial break.

On that note, looking forward to the new crop of trailers.

I feel that Rami has a good grip of Spiderman. If the studio lets him make his film than I feel it will do well. S3 was too much studio involvement. If I were Amy Pascal I would let Rami do his thing, or she might not have a career with another Spiderman bomb.

As for Spiderman 4, take all the time you need just get the script right.  Horrible script, horrible movie, period!

The problem is that Spiderman 3 made a bunch of cash, so Sony will probably think they were correct in the bull$hit they mad Sam do in that Movie. I hope Sam wins or walks away... If he leaves the project at least I'll know I can wait to netflix it.

Sony needs to back the fukk off, and let Sam handle a character he knows well, and made hugely sucsesful (in cinema) from the beginning.

Just an Idea. Since Vampires & Werewolves are so popular now-a-days, Why not entertain the idea of the opponents being Morbius, Moonwolf - and the Lizard in there for good measure.  With that scenario you could also include Black Cat & maybe the Punisher. Possibly, Spiderman could even grow 4 more arms due to an encounter with one of Dr Conners' experiments, forcing him to seek out the Lizard & cure him so Dr Conners can cure Spiderman. This story would follow a popular storyline in Spiderman history.

Sighhhhh this only means a longer wait for spidey 4 at this point I don't think people even care who are going to be the villians I think they just want to see the film get made.

My only problem with 3 was there was three different movies crammed into one. Saying simply that it "sucked" simply shows a lack of vocabulary. Also, it was too soon for Venom if you ask me.  Carnage really isn't a "new and exciting" villain  any more any way  as he was created like a decade or more ago so Sony's demands are even more lame.  I agree that classic baddies such as Vulture, Mysterio, and Lizard certainly would give it a "different voice" from Nolan's movies and that's good.   Ironman used Stane and now has Whiplash.  I shutter to think what enemy Sony would saddle them with...

No thanks on that one. I for one am tired of seeing a "changing" Spidey in the movies. Spidey#1, he was discovering his powers, Parker became a new person. Spidey#2, he lost his powers due to "faith"...whatever. Again, change in character. Spidey #3, him and the symbiote joined together, thus, another change. Let's just have happy go-lucky Spidey for once and not crying Tobey.
