Unless they recast Curt Connors, which I think would suck.

Kraven as a villian is a MUST! He would be perfect to kill off Mary Jane and open up the way for Parker / Spiderman's other love interests.

Casting??? I would suggest Jeffrey Dean Morgan..Aka Watchmen's The Comedian (also Supernatural the Father Winchester).  I think he'd fit that role pretty perfectly after being the comedian.

Hells yes!  Black Cat!  That OWNS!  Then they say:

"And it looks like it'll be a two-villain movie. Our source also says they are casting for a male villain, but had few details. However, this would seem to discount the idea that Lizard is the primary, since the role of Dr. Conners has been cast since movie #2."

A male villian?  Well The Lizard was all ready confirmed yes?  So Connors is done because he has been in it for two movies.  I say the are casting the new male role for Kraven the Hunter!  Kraven the Hunter, the Lizard, and Black Cat.  This movie is going to kick ass.

I wonder how MJ will handle the sexy like of Black Cat.  By getting her toothy ass kicked that is how! O.O

I thought there would be two villains but am surprised one is the black cat but I like it and McAdams ia a fantastic actress.

So then who is the major villain as the black cat is a thief but not a killer. Interesting that most of you guys think its kraven as he is not the most popular of villains which prob makes him kinda cool to do.  But........ I would think the next major villain is prob electro or mysterio. Out of the 2 Id put more money on mysterio. 

Black Cat is fine, though I was hoping for Electro or Vulture.  They could do a great take on the Vulture story of him wanting youth and cast Patrick Stewart and Tom Hardy (for a little 'Star Trek: Nemesis' reunion).  I still like the idea of an opening scene with Electro in a freak show putting light bulbs in his mouth before spiraling into a life of crime...

That aside, it's really time for the Lizard to shine.  Have Black Cat/Felicia Hardy replace the hole where Harry Osborn/Green Goblin was and introduce the reptile, baby!  Maybe the casting call for a male villain role is a ruse or set up for another movie (like Connors in 'Spiderman 2')...

I know!  They should have MJ die or move far away at the beginning of the movie so they can get rid of her.  Then cut to a couple of years in the future so the Spiderman movies can be free of MJ.  I am so sick of this love sick crap over her and every wingle movie Spiderman has to save her from some terrible danger.  It is way past lamer than lame.  At least with Black Cat we get a hottie that can take care of herself.  Black Catks skills are awesome!  She is much more interesting than MJ by a huge mile.

Having black cat in the movie doesn't make since. Reason being, he spent all of #2 trying to get with her, screws it up in #3 then got her back, why do we need MORE hurdles?

Black Cat is cool, and Rachel McAdams is awesome, but like many others, I would have preferred a Kraven/Lizard story.  We'll see if we get classic Raimi, or bowing-to-studio-pressure Raimi.  If it's classic Raimi, I'll be there.  If it's SM3 Raimi, I may wait for video...

I could have sworn that Raimi confirmed the Lizard as a villain.  Did I not see that story here on this site?  I know I am not going crazy.  So if that is true and they are casting for another male role who could that be?  We need more Spiderman 4 news and soon.
