Not sure that the Black Cat story could hold a whole movie together, but I love the idea of the Lizard being introduced as mentioned earlier...

I know too many villains can spoil the broth, but the complex relationship between Pete and cat with a Todd McFarlane style Uber Lizard as a HUGE roadblock for both characters could make for one hell of a movie...

I agree that McAdams does nothing for me as Black Cat. Someone more along the lines of Sienna Miller or Elisha Cuthbert or Gemma Arterton fill the whole crazy/sexy angle for better for me.

I would imagine Tobey Maguire is.  Why would he not play Spiderman?  I don't knopw who else could at this point.

As for Rachel McAdams I took a while and looked at her pics on the web.  I am tending to agree that unless she unleashes some inner hotness I am seriosuly not getting the "Black Cet" vibe from her at all.  Sienna Miller did all right in GI Joe as the Baroness.  Though I have to say Rachel Nichols as Scarlett in GI Joe was WAY hotter and more convincing in her role.  Too bad Monica Bellucci is not younger.  She is hot enough to burn up Spiderman's suit.  Olivia Wilde seems to be a good actress and is damn hot.  Hell, even Mila Kunis would be a better fit than Rachel McAdams.

As long as they have a better white wig than Storm's, it should be fine....

Rachel McAdams wasn't so wholesome as the head plastic in Mean Girls, was she? She did a pretty good job as a whole other type of evil. Her character in Mean Girls was conniving. She should do pretty good as Black Cat. I thought she was more properly suited to play Harley Quinn in a Batman film.

But I do understand what everyone else is talking about. I wanted someone more sultry and sexy to play Black Cat, but a woman who can also act. For a somewhat unknown, I would've liked Katie Cassidy who played Ruby first on Supernatural. She has a very sexy face, can act, and is great at flirting. For a more known actress, I would've liked Elisha Cuthbert who is extremely sexy. Or even Hilary Duff, which I'll probably take a lashing for. But I think she has become very sexy and I want her to show what she can do. I also think Adrianne Palicki from the upcoming movie Legion could be good.
