And what's the matter with you people saying No to Cameron's Spider-Man?  Damn man I thought by now you cats would've learned not to doubt the man.  How many times do you need to be proven wrong?  If Cameron wants to do a Spider-Man film best believe it will own and destroy everything in it's path.

Not with that storyline he wouldn't have, Hanso, not even God is immune from mistakes.  I mean look at the world as it is.  I remember when I first read about it a long time ago I rolled my eyes and gave up hope.  Glad  Raimi had taken over and glad Cameron doesn't want to touch it with a ten foot pole.

God didn't screw up the world, we did. But not sure how that's relevant to the topic of a Spider-Man movie. ;)

James Cameron would make a REAL Spider-Man movie. And it would leave us begging for more. Sorry, it's the truth. But I'd be stunned if he'd be available to do it. He's just too big right now.

Yeah, forgot about that earthquake in Haiti that we let happen.  Not that I believe in him anyway...I was just setting up an allegory that most people would relate to.

You know...that nobody is perfect.

Hey if you don't believe, that's your business. If you want to blame Him for earthquakes and the like, also your business. But without getting into a theological debate, I get what you are trying to say. But right now James Cameron is box office gold. Having created some of the most amazing and memorable movies, not to mention the TWO most successful movies in history, I'd go with him right now over just about anyone to give me a great Spider-Man movie. I'm just not sure he'd be able to right now.

Hanso, did you real his storyboards!

I don't mind Cameron doing Spidey, as long as it's not like the radical proposals that he wanted in the first place.

MrJaw - That's old stuff, I'm sure he would change it up now that he's back in the game.  Anyway, don't see him coming near it he's got his own things going on.

But Fincher that would be great i think.  Another fave of mine would work too I think and that's Alfonso Cuaron.  He's can nail the teen themes down no problem if that's what Sony wants.

TO - I didn't see the storyboards.  They could have Peter Parker being a tweaker and dressing up as Spider-Man to battle villains while he performs sex acts with various roided up midgets and it wouldn't matter.  Cameron would still find a way to make the film an event and you would come out with your mind blown contemplating what else can roided up midgets do.

ROFL! I really had a laugh at that one...thanks, hanso.
