
After setting all kinds of box offices records, and later selling big in the DVD market, Marvel and Sony's 'Spider-Man' finally hit a market it could not conquer: Broadcast television. 'Spider-Man' scaled only moderate Nielsen heights for Fox on Thanksgiving night. More Americans were inclined to check out CBS' winning regular lineup of "Survivor: Vanuatu," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Without a Trace."
