Madmanic, you had me until the part about Captain America. I think Cap would had Batman an ass whooping. And I`m talking about Steve Rogers. Bucky might do some damage but Bats would take him down. Rogers on the other hand has battled some many villains with gadgets and is pretty much the ultimate soldier. Not to mention the super soldier serum.

Bats vs Cap

Cap wins!

Remember the DC vs Marvel, did they put spidey against Bats, no they put him against freakin' Superboy. I think that answers the question. Reguardless of how nice he is, that just means he would stop before he did some serious damage to Batman.

Hey savagelee.  You do know that Spider-Man has gone toe to toe with the Hulk right?  Sure he lost, but he got punched by the Hulk.  You know what that means right?  It means that Spider-Man could stand still and get punch and kicked by Batman all day long and it would do absolutly NOTHING.   That includes his bat bombs, bat weapons and everything else.

And how is Batman going to find a way around the spider sense?  Parker can liteally see danger before it happens Jedi style.  How are you going to stop that?

I really like Batman as a character because he is the most bad ass non-super human alive in any comic, but facts are facts.  One punch and Batman would be unconscious or dead.  Because if you think even the best martial arts training could prepare anyone to take one in the face from a creature that can lift ten tons I have a bridge to sell you the desert.

But again, I really doubt Batman would fight Spider-Man.  Batman is smart enough to tell who is evil and who is not just by looking at them.  Nothing about Spider-Man is evil at all.  Batman would just talk to him first.  Then they would go get some beers at the JLA with the Flash and Superman.

But I do have two bad asses who would chop Batman a new one hands down.  Deadpool or Wolverine.  The battle starts fast and ends fast with a dead Bbatman all chopped up and bloody on the floor.

Touche Ponyboy, I may be underestimating The Captain... Can't help it I'm Canadian, all we got was Alpha Flight...

Still like to see Bats vs. Daredevil, that would be a good scrap.

I want savagelee to tell me when has Batman killed. The fact is that  Parker busted in to prison and beat the shit out of the kingpin. Batman wouldn't have done any more than that himself. Bats talks a good game and tries to intimidate but they all know he won't cross the line anymore than Spidey. You can talk all that garbage about Spidey but Bats plays by the same rules even though he tries to convince others that he doesn't, he isn't the Punisher, who actually walks the talk. And maybe Parker hasn't traveled the world but he wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth and at least he isn't a pedophile

Here is a run down of Captain America:

"Captain America doesn't have superhuman powers, unlike most popular superheroes (excluding Batman, of course). But the Super-Soldier Serum increased his body to the physical maximum. He literally has the max abilities it's possible to have and not be a superhuman. He is as intelligent, fast, durable, strong, and agile as any human could be. He could win every contest in the Olympics, weightlifting to racing. He has run a mile in roughly a minute and bench-pressed 1100 pounds. A major part is that the serum prevents the build-up of fatigue poisons in his muscles. This means he effectively never tires, so he can do such extraordinary feats and fight for such a long time. This also means he cannot become intoxicated and is immune to many diseases. The serum is constantly being replenished by his body. Cap is a master of many martial arts, and he has his own style melding jin jitsu, boxing, judo, pressure points, his amazing body and his shield. It is extraordinarily effective. He has enhanced reflexes and senses.

Also, Captain America is a great leader, field commander, and tactician. He led the Avengers for a long time, and his great experience makes him great on the battlefield. He gives orders like a sergeant. He also creates the plans for the Avengers, and has a great fighting spirit. All this means he regularly defeats enemies much stronger then him and can go toe-to-toe with foes as powerful as Spider-Man.

Captain America uses a circular shield, shaped like a discus. It was created by serendipity as a melding of vibranium, titanium, and an unknown substance. This means it is literally indestructible. It has only been damaged by altering reality itself by things like the Infinity Gauntlet. Years of practice with his indestructible shield make it practically an extension of his own body, and he is able to aim and throw it with amazing accuracy. His skill with his shield is so extensive that he can attack multiple targets with a single throw by use of ricochets or even cause a boomerang-like return from a throw to attack an enemy from behind, then return to him. His uniform is fire-retardant and he has lightweight "chain mail" beneath it for more protection."

So yah, Captain America is a pure bad ass.  I don't think Batman could take down Captain America either.

axia777 - Parker ain't that tough; I've seen him bleed from being shot, and even cut with a knife. His skin isn't even half-bullet-proof. He can take a punch pretty good, but he ain't unstopable. And I've seen Batman beat up monsters twice as strong as Spider-man, even without a kryptonite ring. And don't worry about the Jedis, The Bat can take them down too. Kung Fu master beats crappy precognative abilities every time.

Wiseguy - Well, okay, The Bat doesn't kill, you're right. But that Kingpin storyline still, to me, made Parker look like a guy who talked big, but didn't have the cajones to follow through. "Beat the shit" doesn't cut it for me though - Parker said he'd kill the Kingpin, and I held him to that, but when push came to shove, he backed down. Weak. Parker's mouth writes checks his ass can't cash.

Oh, and adopting children doesn't make you a pedophile. There's a difference between a father figure and a NAMBLA member. I'm sure you have father-figures in your life who looked out for you and helped you while you grew up, without trying to sexually molest you. I know it's one of the oldest jokes in comics, but come on. You think just because a father loves his adopted son, that means he's a child molester? Because that's a real spit in the face to anybody who was adopted, or raised in foster care. You don't have to be a blood relative to care about somebody, and not every man who teaches young boys wants to have sex with them.

The reason Parker doesn't travel is because he can't earn the money to do it. All he can really do for cash is take photos of himself, which isn't really that impressive of a photographic skill.

haha you can argue any point you want about Spider-Man.

in the end.......ITS BATMAN.

no contest

Umm there are alot of Batman assumptions going on here, boy do ya love the Bat. I thinks he's cool too but come onnn. You got Batman slipping out of his cape, how many times do you see that happening. Also last I heard if batman at first (you seem to like batmans instant first impressions) deduces that he is a Spider Man, he wouldnt just assume that a screeching noise will take him out because we all know that Spiders dont have ears for starters. That and it's way too early in the fight to have Batman assume that Spider-mans predicting his moves for all you know Spider-man could simply have faster reflexes. The fight would have to drag out longer than that for Batman to have a decent evaluation of Spider-man's abilities. Plus you have Spider-Man shooting his webbing at his cape are you on some sort of drug? Spidey if anything aims for the face. Come oooon if you want to take the lizard ya dont shoot the tail dude everyone knows this! I'm not gonna get into specifics but I have to chalk it up to Spidey on this one. Super Strength, Speed, acrobatics vs Batmans above average strength, martial arts, gadgets its a tough call Spidey would be seriously hurt but Bats would be down for the count.

I think a fairer fight would be... Batman vs. Iron Man. Both billionaire playboys, both highly intelligent, both tech-reliant, no powers.
