As you already know, the Paramount production offices relating to INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL experienced a break-in where thieves stole countless photography stills, computer files and various other items. As soon as this happened, the online press decided collectively not to play along with the thieves who will now be facing the consequences of such actions in prison. As a reward for not ruining anything related to the theft, director Steven Spielberg set an impromptu lunch meeting with a small group of local online reporters. While they weren't allowed on the set itself, they did get to see Harrison Ford and his fellow stars in full costume eating lunch, a surprise for the online press in attendance.

Some "official" confirmations from Spielberg:

-Filming will wrap up in 2 days.

-Russians are the villains with real Russian actors cast.

-They have the story ready for Transformers 2.  Spielberg and Shia are ready but the impending strike is a factor in production & release timing of the sequel.

-They've had the "Crystal Skull" title for over a year.

-Shia and Harrison insisted on doing their own stunts.

-George Lucas was not a Second Unit Director but he was on set for 9 days and him and Steve will work together with the editing process.

Harrison Ford doing his own stunts?
At his age??
The insurance company covering the production must have loved that one!

This may surprise allot of people but Harrison is in awsome shape for his age believe it or not...I posted a comment that I had met Ford in Wyoming where I was fighting a wild land fire near his ranch...I met him in town at a coffee shop and told him I was interested in directing movies and planned on going to film school and then I asked him if I could ask him a few questions and he was more than willing and very kind...I had asked him about a new Indiana Jones movie and mind you this was back in 2001 and he said that a script was being worked on in it's beginning stages right as we were speaking and he was not sure if it was going to get done or not...I had asked him if he planned on doing his own stunts if it does get that far and he said sure, that he was in great shape because of the personal trainer that he had been working with for the last 15 or so years and that he had a chef that made him healthy food and a nutritionist to add to all of that...He looked in great shape and I don't doubt that he is doing his own stunts in this movie...The man is a warrior and health freak even though he likes his bourbon and whiskey,lol...This should be a great movie with him and Shia...

mlaforcer, I am not surprise about what you say, the meanning of age are completely different now. in 2007 to get 70 was exactly 60 years old back to the 70s. When you look john wayne in Mac Q is like watch Clint eastwood in Millions dollars baby. they have 10 years different. So stallone in rocky 6 was incredibly in shape, i am sure Harrison will impress me

Listen up kiddies. I'm Harrison Fords' age and I've been working out with heavy weights and running most of my life and I'm here to tell you that you're only as old as you let yourself be. It's not the chronological age; it's how fit you've been keeping yourself. Sure, it's not easy, but nobody ever said life was.

Thanks, popa. I'm only half Harrison's age, but every year it gets a little harder to stay in the same shape. Nevertheless, I refuse to ever quit. Your comment was good to see.

Lucas has said for years that it's okay this movie has taken so long to get made because Harrison is one of those people who it doesn't matter how old they are; he'll always kick butt. I think that's true, so it doesn't surprise me about the stunts.

You know combining Indiana Jones and Transformers would be an interesting idea for a movie.
Shia Belouf could play a dual role.

This is confirmation once again that Harrison Ford and Indiana Jones will always be true heroes no matter their age. I cannot wait. If this movie is like Raiders as Lucas has said it will rock. I know everyone is worried about Lucas screwing things up, but I think Spielberg will keep him in check, I just wish George would have let Spielberg direct the prequel trilogy of Star Wars, although I still like it, I think Spielberg would have made it tremendously better as he will this movie. Lucas is a great writer in terms of story maybe not dialogue, but Spielberg is a great director.

I would have to say that the Indiana Jones was the de facto movie trilogy of the '80s. I remember seeing "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" in the theatre back in '81, didn't see "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" in the theatres, but did see it on VHS...and I did see "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" in the theatres in '89. Can't wait to see this one in the theatres!

Hope IJ4 is good, but I'm not holding my breath. That said, what is with all the people saying Ford looks like crap and is too old?! Sure his hair may be a bit thinner and grayer and he may have a bit of a ponch... but i hope I look that good at 65!

Although he has to that dumb-assed earing.
