Spoilers for "Heroes"

A recent article posted on CHUD bashes NBC's show Heroes and then gives away some spoilers regarding upcoming episodes.

Read at your own risk:

The clip they showed was actually surprisingly spoiler-filled – it picks up with Nathan “Flying Brother” Petrelli having a talk with Linderman, the mysterious gangster and casino owner played by Malcolm McDowell. In the clip, Linderman is giving Petrelli some deep background on superheroes. It turns out that he has powers, and he had friends with powers (probably George Takei and Petrelli’s mom, among others); together they fought evil. Things changed over time, though, and Linderman came up with a new plan, one that would call for some shady seeming actions. The culmination of that plan is the explosion in New York City that the show has been flashing forward to all season. Linderman is engineering the explosion as a way to create world peace.

KJ's Take:  The guy who wrote this article, well, I feel bad for him.  I mean, if you can't enjoy Heroes, I honestly just feel bad for you.

Anyways, if this is true, it makes an interesting and Watchmen like turn (which the writer alluded to).  I really don't see that as a bad thing, and don't see how he could complain about it being a ripoff from that singular storyline.  Whatever, I still can't wait to see Peter and Sylar throw down.

Gotta agree KJ.... Heroes is a breath of fresh air in TV, but like most comic book based stories that isn't based on an actual comic it is taking some serious flack..... Personally i love it, and agree, Let's get going on that Peter/Sylar slug fest.

Yeah, honestly, if you can`t enjoy a show like Heroes, then you`re better off watching American Idol or some other reality show. I understand that a show about people with powers doesn`t appeal to everyone, but if you are a fan of the genre, but don`t like this show, something is wrong with ya.
Granted it does have a little Watchmenesque plot, if this is true, but so what? The Watchmen is one of the best graphic novels out and to compare it with that is way more of a compliment than anything else.
That spolier would explain alot as far as these other heroes as far as a generational, thing. The trait being passed down from the parents, but what about people like Nikki and the cop?

Nikki and the cop? What heroes fan doesn't know the cop's name is Matt Parkman. Anyway, I think the real question is how will Sylar escape without getting killed. The show leaves off with Peter in distress, but after he realizes what's going on, Sylar will be in for one big surprise. Either Sylar's going to die, which is unlikely, or Peter's going to let him go. Not only can Peter heal and stop time, he has all of Sylar's powers. Sylar, if he lives, will discover there's someone much more powerful than he is and will go on a rampage, killing as many heroes as he can.

Yes, mdshultz, I must not be a Heroes fan because I couldn't remember Parkman`s name. You`re one of those anal fanboys aren't ya? I forgot his name, but you know it, so you`re the man! Way to go! Assclown!!

I haven't read this article and I'm not going to 'cuz I enjoy the show too much to spoil the milk in the hot sun.

I'm guessing that Peter won't be able to heal himself completely. I think Peter might only be able to absorb or draw on absorbed powers a certain amount and then they're gone, until he is exposed to them again. Otherwise, he would wind up being too powerful. Future Hiro said he almost didn't recognize Peter without "the scar." If he could heal at will without limits, he would never have a scar. I'm guessing he heals Sylar's cut enough to save his life, but then burns out the healing ability.

By the way, was anyone else blindsided by the "Heroes will be back April 23" BS? I hadn't heard anything about that until the end of the show last week. Pissed me off! I want the show back! Oh well, at least I get to watch 24 a little earlier...

I think that Linderman will have an unexpected blood relationship to another character that will be revealed before the end of the season. I don't think it's anyone in the Petrelli family, I that would be too obvious. I think it will be Nikki, Matt, DL or Issac.

That April 23rd return definitely blindsided me. It seems like it just came back from a long hiatus and now another one?

Well, Season n was initially supposed to be ending right now, but when they realized it was such a hit, they asked Tim Kring if he could add a few episodes onto this seasons order, and he agreed.

I am rabidly awaiting the April 23rd epsiode. I can already tell the season ending cliffhanger (If there is one) is really going to piss me off. But I digress...

Nikki makes sense as being Lindeman's daughter. All these little pieces seem to fit in together. Those 2 being related just makes a lot of sense. The same would go for Parkman, that means that may be the 3 of them are related which would add an extra dimension to when Parkman and Nikki fought the first time.

As for Lindeman's power, I could almost see him as a professor X where his mental powers are far superior to Parkman's. It would explain how it is that Lindeman has his fingers in everything. It would also end up making sense that parkman is in his lineage.

I guess I will just have to keep an eye on the primatech paper website to maybe get clues on what is upcoming.
