I agree on the shaky cameras... normally I can take it, but that fight scene from Supremacy in that house in Germany was just way too much. It looked more like the cameraman was having a seizure than anything else. I'm really looking forward to this movie, though. Damon is perfect in the role and both movies have been ridiculously entertaining so far. This one looks to be stepping up the action, and I can't wait to see it.
I'm gonna approach this from an entirely different angle than you guys... Nikki was hot, and now I don't get to stare at her in anymore episodes! Honestly though I never really had too much of a problem with their introduction. It wasn't necessary, but objectively speaking, which is more ridiculous; That we're suddenly introduced to two characters in season 3 that we've never seen before and yet have been with the losties the entire time? Or that out of 60 survivors through the first 2 seasons 50 or so never seemed to ever do anything despite being in the exact same position as the main characters?
Funny, I'm watching a rerun episode as I write this... but I know I'd definitely pay my $7.50 to see another X-Files movie. I was utterly disappointed with the direction they took in the final season or so.... they could have easily worked their way into a "next generation" x-files of sorts with Doggett and Reyes. Instead decided to pursue their mythology storyline until the end (and quite poorly, at that). I'm sure a movie would do quite well at the box office... lots of X-Files fans out there.
I love the show... and I'm stoked about Martha Jones... she's way hotter than Rose ever could have hoped to be!
I assumed that the appearance of Locke's father was simply in line with the appearance of Jack's father earlier in the series... seeing what he wanted to see, or seeing an important figure from his life... i dunno, I don't remember if the visions of Jack's father were ever resolved, so this may be a way to resolve it. I'll have a hard time swallowing this if Locke's conman father really is inside the magic box...
As a note, I didn't think it was perfect... I know I said that, but I was thinking more in terms of the marketing, the soundtrack, the visuals and all of that. I wasn't specific enough. The overall emotional and atmospheric impact of the movie struck a perfect cord... but there were a few story and one one or two character aspects that could have been tweaked and improved as well.
This movie was amazing and deserves every dime it has made. I've been looking forward to this movie for the better part of 6 months now, and I still can't get over how amazing it was. As the previous poster said everything about this movie was perfect... The previews were awesome, the soundtrack was brilliant, and the visuals were awe-inspiring. I am going to see it again, of that I am certain. I'd love to get to an IMAX theater, but unfortunately the closest one is an hour away. The movie is incredible. SEE IT!
Maguire should do everyone a favor and just stop trying to be Peter Parker. He's such a whiny little wiener... I can't stand to see him on screen. If they recast his part I'd be pretty happy... And if they recast Mary Jane with an actress who is actually attractive I'd be absolutely thrilled.
I'm rather surprised everyone so far has liked Bad Boys II. I suppose it was entertaining to a point, but it was much too long and got way too stupid. Once the girl was kidnapped and taken to Cuba everything just got ridiculous. The movie should have ended with them stopping the guy at the airport, NOT flying into Cuba with an elite SWAT team and meeting up with the Cuban resistance that has already conveniently dug tunnels underneath the target house... Just way too stupid.

They could make every one of Tolkein's books into a movie and I would see every single one. And I'd hope Peter Jackson's name is perennially attached to anything and everything Middle Earth. I just hope he can find a way to reconcile with New Line.
