Capt Caveman you are totally right, didn't notice that because these aren't Klingons in any form that we have ever seen them on screen because of thos stupid helmets that they seem to be wearing, something alien in ever version of Klingons I can think of. 

And Evil, Those are just Cumberbatches ears. He is not Vulcan, there is a full profil shot of him with his ear clearly human. 

 Like Darthbob said I hope this isn't just another single guy revenge movie like the 2009 one. Apart from the charm and fun of getting to know the new cast in the roles we all know well the Nero parts and story were a total snooze. Now that the cast is established we're actually going to need a good story this time. 2009 was not a good story. Even though Kirk is a lot more action orientated than Picard he still used his intellience a lot on TOS to resolve things and I hope we see more of that as well as bravado. Plus it would be nice to see more science in the fiction than in the 2009 movie. I still want it to feel like Trek, Not Chronicles of Riddick 3: Wrath of Khitchell! Lol

I was thinking Kahn and Carol Marcus.  I really think Kahn after seeing the last clip in the Japanese trailer.

Well, it looks action packed...

I remember in TNG, Captain Piccard and Jordie talking about the ship's structure being reinforced with force fields.  That could be one reason why the ship doesn't disintigrate or crinkle up like tinfoil when it crashes into the water.  I would expect it to take heavy damage though and there isn't anything in the trailer to make me assume it didn't.

The lens flares seem to have died down (hopefully!)

yeah Len Wiseman used up all the lens flares in the world on his piece of shit Total Recall remake!!

I liked the ladies in that remake, wish :)
