@Wise - Yep.  Haters are haters and don't want us to enjoy what they hate.  You want to know the truth about most people who hate 3D?  They can't see it properly because fo their eyeballs.  LOL  They have poor vision and it gived them a head ache.

On one hand you have people whining  because they looked at re-releasing as a cash grab then you have others whining because they're not following through with an additional cash grab.  I could care less either way, but if it results in a better effort being given for episodes VII - IX then I'm all for it.

I don't think there is a problem with 3D as long as you have the option to see it in 2D.  Which isn't always the case anymore unless you have to drive way to the other side of town to see it in 2D.  I missed a few movies this year because the theater closest to me was only showing it in 3D.

Damn, I wanted to see the Battle of Coruscant in 3D. I didn't bother with TPM and wouldn't have seen AOTC again either, but ROTS was decent and the space battle was amazing. Hope we still get the original trilogy in 3D.

Assuming Wise is correct about the BO numbers for The Phanton Menace 3-D being around $102 million then yeah that's a bit strange of Disney to postpone the other prequels 3-D releases.  That's a lot of money considering it's a rerelease of a sort and also given that they couldn't have spent that much on the 3-D conversion.

BTW, there are people who can't watch 3-D because there eyes do hurt when doing so (although I'm not one of them) like our good friend Eaglemaniac has told us before I believe.

Never assume I'm correct, conclude it.
