Star Wars Big 3 Casting

No Decision Yet on Reuniting

By Robert T. Trate     March 14, 2013

The Geek Community and perhaps the world is still waiting on the official word of the casting of Star Wars’ big three actors (Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher). Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger gave CNBC's "Closing Bell" on Tuesday an update on the proceedings.

"This is one of the biggest franchises ever created so we're thrilled to have the opportunity to be associated with it and bring it into the future. With franchises, we leverage them very well across all our businesses, across territories and if you have a really solid franchise that you're fueling with great creativity over a long time. George Lucas was quoted as saying they would, but we haven't made an official announcement yet”.

That is the official word from the biggest mouse on the planet.

Personally, I think we'll know everything on May 4th. It is after all the official day of Star Wars

 yes, you CAN wait....

No one wants to see Fisher in anything but a snuggie.

She should be wearing a mumu or a house coat.

Are we really going to have this discussion again?  Sigh...

I'm tired of hearing all of the rumors.  Just let me know when something official is announced.  May 4 is as good a day as any other.

Today's CGI tech is great, but i dont think it's advanced enough to cover up all the Star Sores on these guys.

momitchell7 3/14/2013 9:46:55 AM

After seeing how bad the CGI/SFX was in Oz, is anyone else but me worried about Disney handling this now? I wasn't before, but based on Disney's recent live-action movie failures I'm hoping that their desperation to have a winner doesn't end up ruining this.

violator14 3/14/2013 10:07:42 AM

naaahh... honestly i aint worried one bit.

Oh look, people trolling on Fishers weight again. I hope you f*cks do not get or are not ever weight. LOL With that let's move on.

I am glad that it is looking more and more like this is going to be official. Now it is a wait and see situation, but my money is on them all being in there, even Billy D.
