STAR WARS boxed DVD set goes retro?

How's this for an odd throwback. Along with the November 12 release of the full, beautiful widescreen DVD of STAR WARS EPISODE II: ATTACK OF THE CLONES comes a boxed set of EPISODE II and STAR WARS EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE.

No surprise, right?

Well, for this DVD release the details are sketchy (available for order at BestBuy.com now) but it is in the full glory... of pan-and-scan, full screen picture. That's right... all the glory of a cropped VHS like-picture in glittering DVD clarity.

We thought five to ten of you VHS nostalgics might like to know.
