STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH Premiere

The Los Angeles Premiere of STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH was recently held in Los Angeles at the Mann Village Theater in Westwood, California.

This 20th Century Fox film was presented by Kellogg's and was a benefit for the charity Artists for a New South Africa and its comprehensive, ground-breaking program for South African children orphaned by HIV/AIDS and was hosted by LaTanya Richardson Jackson, the wife of Samuel L. Jackson.

Like all the other STAR WARS films, Lucasfilm Ltd. conducted world premieres simultaneously in New York, San Francisco, London and many other places. Although our premiere had none of the current stars we were treated to some of the original STAR WARS actors.

Seen on the carpet: Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Jimmy Smits (Senator Bail Organa), John Ratzenberger (Major Bren Derlin), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), R2-D2 and costumed actors who dressed as Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Storm Troopers and Princess Leia.

Joining the stars was Consul General Jeanette Ndhlovu of South Africa, Christopher Lloyd, Jake Richardson, Nikki Six, Bai Ling, CCH Pounder, Alfre Woodard, Roma Maffia, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Kelsey Grammer, Graham Nash, David Crobsy, James Pickens, Jr., Victoria Rowell and many others.
