The internet has lit up with production news on Star Wars: Episode VII. JJ Abrams and company have finished shooting in Abu Dhabi. This is evident do to the twitter post of the cast and crew back in London.

The other post comes from new Star Wars cast members John Boyega and Daisy Ridley via Instagram. They were chilling at the Star Trek Live at St Albert's Hall in London.

Tweets and Instagrams are great, outside of the production, because they don’t ruin anything about the film. With that being said, TMZ has a plethora of production photos from Episode VII, like the one above. Mania is going to do its best to balance these for those that want to see them and those that do not.

Awesome! No CG creatures or aliens! Old school baby!

Love the one image that looks like a pod racer engine. I wonder how many subtle references we will see to the prequels?

Not sure buy one photo leak and speculation it's a Nightsister. Find it hard to believe since the EU was not to be included. Then again, Official Canon are the 6 movies, Clone Wars and Rebels.

The Nightsisters were originally in the books and then in Clone Wars.

So, I know they are saying know to the EU but they will still take stuff from it (I hope)

Also the expanded universe is being rebooted. I think there should be a CGI television show in between the movies like the original trilogy and sequel trilogy. Marvel Comics is getting back the legal rights to Star Wars.

While everything else looks ok I'm not too thrilled with the pig face creature. I think they could've been a bit more creative with the design. Almost every science-fiction movie/tv show has a creature with a pig nose. Yeah, I know, I'm being picky but seeing something that resembles an animal from earth kinda takes me out of the movie... Avatar did it so many times from the six legged Dobermans to the six legged horses, to the six legged rhinos, etc., I couldn't get into the movie.

It can't suck as bad as the prequels. Nothing can

I just decided on a whim to start watching Clone Wars on Netflix last night.  Seems kinda cool so far.

VTG- Many of the episodes in Clone Wars seem diluted with repetitiveness, but there are some seriously brilliant, deep, awesome episodes as well. Many scenes are much better than anything from the movies.

Clones Wars seasons 1-2 are not bad. Seasons 3-5 are freakin awesome!

Love the 4 episode arc in season 4 called Darkness on Umbara. None of the major characters in it but man it's good. Jedi Master Pong Krell. That's all i have to say.
