Midichlorians? why not that's what I use to do my laundry, it's good too my clothes come out spotless

 LOL WIseguy. Saw the video, fi they go this route for the tv series, it could seriously work. A shortened season (say 12-15 eps per season) all kinds of tie ins between the prequel and classic series, this could bring the fans back BEFORE the next movie, I think. Get that extra buzz going (not that a new star wars film needs much extra buzz). I could see them possibly doing stories about gamesmanship and intrigue in the heiarchy of the Empire,down to stories from the lowest dregs of the underworld. One thing I'd like to see done on the screen, either big or small: THRAWN!

No jedi and lightsabers. Ok, maybe a little. But what made the original trilogy much better was the uniquness of the jedi (Luke being the last and untapped power).

I liked the prequels but having so many jedi was not as special as Obiwan/Luke. Plus it lacked the humour of having scoundrels. Han and Lando were great with Chewie as well.

I think we have mentioned this before. We need to:

1) limit jedi and their powers.

2) no overuse of CG. stick to sets/costumes/makeup.

3) Don't dumb it down (Jar Jar)

4) Bring back the funny stuff and I don't mean creatures farting.

Firefly was like a Star Wars show on scoundrels. Sometimes I wonder if Whedon wanted his own Star Wars show but Lucas controled everything so he went ahead and did one himself.

Speaking of Lando. Did anyone watch Modern Family on Wednesday? Billy Dee Williams himself! As Billy Dee Williams. I loved it when he said "it's always New Year's Eve at Billy Dee's" LOL!

 I never thought I would say this, but I found Jar Jar entertaining ONCE...not in the movies, but one episode of The Clone Wars where he was mistaken for a Jedi.  It was actually entertaining, and they somehow made his "comedy" stylings nearly enjoyable.  That said, I'm totally with ya, ElBaz.

 ElBaz, I saw it.  Thought it was pretty funny.  I liked when Gloria met him.  "I'm Gloria Dee wife."

Just make the darn thing already!

It could be an interesting concept, but it doesn't sound like Star Wars.  More of an "off shoot" video game.  

I love me some star wars. Not sure I like the no jedi no lightsabers thing, thats what makes star wars star wars, but bounty hunters are always cool. Since Disney got there hands lucasflim all kinda good star wars news has been coming out, not to mention the good things there doing with marvel, go Disney!!

doubt it will happend, and if it does most of us will be dead by the time this will get on to tv..lol.

 Nah, thezillaman, it's gonna happen.  Now that Disney has the rights, I would almost guarantee that they're not going to hold themselves to Lucas' standards.  It would be lovely if there were no discernable differences between TV shows and feature films, but I think Disney will be more realistic.  I look forward to Marvel and Star Wars having a live action TV presence.

I said it before, I'll say it again...Lucas was putting such a high price tag on it because he had forgotten all the rubber masks and practical effects that got him to where he was.
