What They SayThe Review!
This DVD is a little different from other DVDs. This DVD does not contain a show on it. It is the credit-less openings and endings, except for slayers next ending, for various anime.
The best thing about some anime titles seems to be the openings. Sometimes more animation is in the opening than in the entire series it seems. This disc, in my opinion, contains one of the most exceptional openings I have ever seen. (Now for the review)
Content: this disc contains the openings and endings for 14 different anime.
?Knights of Ramune VS 40?
?Utena? (both endings)
?Hareluya 2 Boy? (both endings)
?Cat Girl Nuku Nuku?
? Kare Kano?
The Opening for ?Hareluya Boy? is the best opening I have ever seen. I have never seen the series. If it is anything like the opening, it will be on my must have list. The good thing about this disc also is you get a Credit-less opening of ?Eva? which ADV had forgotten.
Audio: is done in Dolby Digital and is less than a factor.
Video: is good but I have seen crisper.
Package: Comes with an eighteen-page pamphlet, which contains color pictures and all the words to the songs. The cover to the box is various pictures of covers to all the different anime shows.
Menu: is straight forward, Set up like a jukebox with the list of shows op and ed.
Extras: There are two extras on this disc. They are the opening and ending to ?Yamato Tachiru?.
In closing there really is not much I can say about this disc. It is a great buy if you love to watch the opening and endings. I bought this in Shibuya at Animate. It?s close to the Shibuya Eki if you were wondering. The cost was 3,800 yen. ?High for here but cheap for there? Run time for this disc is 48 minutes or in ?Manga Entertainment time? 3 hours.
