STARGATE scoop next week in TV GUIDE

Next week's issue of TV Guide will feature a cover story for STARGATE SG-1 saluting it as "sci-fi's biggest hit". Included in the magazine will be a feature interview with the show's star, Richard Dean Anderson, as well as talk about the upcoming eighth season of the series.

TV Guide will also provide brand new information about STARGATE: ATLANTIS, the new series coming from MGM Television and Sci-Fi Channel. The Guide write-up mentions that ATLANTIS is a "underwater spin-off series", the first time that's been mentioned anywhere. Is the new show literally set underwater or am I reading too much into their write-up? We'll all find out next Monday when the new issue of TV Guide arrives on newsstands.
