It seems the kitsch-heavy remake of the 1970s cop show STARSKY AND HUTCH won't be slapped onto screens as soon as fans of Ben Stiller had hoped.
In an item from entertainment columnists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith, Stiller let it be known the long-developing HUTCH still has no script.
Where does it stand?
"In the very, very, very early stages of development," Stiller said, despite being developed since before the announcement last year.
Stiller, it was previously announced, was to star and direct the update of the funk-heavy buddy cop show, debuted in 1975 and ran for 88 episodes.
