It's all GE's fault. GE owns Universal; Universal runs Sci-Fi. They need to split the Sci-Fi Channel in two netwotks -- one: current programming; two: classic programming (when sci-fi ment something). Oh! And someone needs to neuter Vincent Kennedy McMahon for putting his crap on Sci-Fi.

As far as I know, FLASH GORDON [starring Sam Jones] is slated to be released on August 7. I, too, hope they don't make it too campy. I can understand why the 1980 version was filmed in that manner -- the tech was not where it is today.

I say no way to WARGAMES 2. WARGAMES was a movie made at the right time, the middle of the "Cold War." If they're going to make a sequel, re-release WARGAMES in the theater, then see if it still holds up with this generation.

I'd have to agree that it looks terrible, like the old Filmation Batman (animated) series. Give me Batman: The Animated Series over any other version -- any day. However I'll give it a few weeks to win me over. No promises.
