Kristen Stewart has signed on to star in the Pang Brothers' (Oxide and Danny) untitled horror film, which is being produced by Ghost House Pictures, Blue Star Pictures and Mandate Pictures.

The story centers on a family that moves into a run-down sunflower farm in North Dakota. After the farm begins to revive, the family slowly is torn apart by suspicion, mayhem and murder. The script was written by Mark Wheaton, which was based on a previous script by Stuart Beattie, which in turn was based on the original script by Todd Farmer.

The cast also includes Dylan McDermott, Penelope Ann Miller and John Corbett.

The script will soon be rewritten by Corporate Sponser then rechecked by Horror Buff and stepped on by Mr. Winky because the studio needs to make money on a PG-13 vs R rated film with kids.

That's not too far off from the truth I guess.

Though, they would soon have their LOTR when The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe comes out in December. Which is good because I've been curious as to why some studio hasn't made it yet.

Excited, can't wait. At least there's more than a Harry Potter world out there for younglings. And to add, adults too.

Any takes on Narnia?
