Taking part in an online chat held to celebrate World Book Day, HARRY POTTER author J.K. Rowling ignited her fans' imaginations by leaving the door open for more adventures with her young wizard after the seventh and supposedly final POTTER book.
Asked by a fan whether she would write a future novel chronicling life for Harry after he's graduated from Hogwarts, Rowling said "Probably not. But I'll never say never because every time I do I immediately break the vow."
Previously the author has always insisted that the HARRY POTTER series of books would always end at seven volumes. Rowling is presently working hard on the sixth POTTER book, still officially untitled. "I can't say when it will be released because that's down to my publishers," she said. "But it's going really well. I am loving writing it."
Rowling also added that she would like to write a book in a "completely different genre" after she's done the final HARRY POTTER novel.
