I feel spoiled for some reason

don't be...the brief synopsis happens within the first 40 pages of a 400 page book.  The book moves fast!

Yeah, no spoilers here.  I want to mention something that's a spoiler but I won't that has me intriuged but I'll have to keep it to myself until next year.

I just finished reading this book and it is REALLY good and creepy.  It took a little while to get started, but once the vamps get going, so does the book.  The new twist on vampires is really different and completely amps up the creeper-factor.  The worst part of the book is having to wait a year until the next one!

It's funny I read this review today because I just started reading the book this morning on the train to work.  I'm hooked already and will probably fly through it.  After that maybe I'll read Twilight.  HA!

Just got through it. Anyone else see the story he was  trying to do with Blade 2? Many similarities and I think that turned me off a bit. I do like how they are combining genres.

Small spoiler.

Seriously! If your ex-husband is the head of CDC emergency response team and he tells you to get the **** out of town, AND take your boyfriend!, and you don't., I think that's a pretty big lapse in plotline.

I read this book in 4 days, and it was SO good, I couldn't put it down. I would have read it in 2 if something stupid called "work" didn't get in the way.....I will be eagerly awaiting books 2 and 3...too bad I have to wait until next year, though.

Unfortunately, even in real life people don't follow this logic. For all she knew - like her fiance' said - he could just be doing for his own personal gains and also, remember...they had him framed later on and made him look like a criminal.

Now I have to pick up this book...Shame on you people! :)
