It seems a bout of comic book-fever is sweeping thorugh Hollywood these days. In the last few months, buoyed by the hype on SPIDER-MAN and THE HULK, along with the powerful afterglow of X-MEN, more and more comic book properties have been snapped up and green-lit by studios.
The latest? THE SUB-MARINER, another Marvel book.
This one, if you haven't cracked a cover in a bit, centers on Prince Namor, man-fish of Atlantis, and his adventures fighting humans as they send garbage and pollution into the oceans.
David Self (THIRTEEN DAYS) has been tapped to penn the script, with Marvel Studios president Avi Arad and Kevin Misher (SCORPION KING) producing.
