Just a few days after revealing six hot character posters featuring the ladies in Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch, Warner Bros. Pictures has launched their first teaser trailer for the upcoming fantasy. Check it out over at Apple iTunes. And sound off on it down below.

Snyder's adventure will star Emily Browning, Carla Gugino, Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Jon Hamm, Scott Glenn and Oscar Isaac. Zack directed from a story he wrote with Steve Shibuya.

Plot Concept: Set in the 1950s, "Sucker Punch" follows Babydoll (Emily Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.

Sucker Punch arrives in theaters March 25, 2011.

Thanks to Wiseguy for the submission.

Ditto and ditto. I love Snyder's style, definitely checking this out.

I wish we had the option for 3D, the look seems to scream for it. But none the less it looks fantastic IMO

Looks pretty damn awesome!

Hmmm... Looks like another live-action attempt to bring absurd over-the-top anime/manga fighting-girl fantasy to the big screen. Geesh... They even engage in scantily clad cutesy musical dance numbers too. Yikes! Despite that and so many other annoyances, it still looks marvelous, and "oddly enticing"... But I've been burned one times too many when so many silly cliched anime/manga conventions and motifs are used in a story.

Muenster - I don't was gonna comment about how I will have to wait for it to show up elsewhere because iTunes is evil and I refuse to use it. I guess I just did. Thanks for the link.

This looks great I am always pumped for a new Snyder movie, even though the Owl movie looks rediculous, I loved 300 and Watchmen, the guy really has a style all his own. I know nothing about Suckerpuch, is this a comic series or an Anime? I might check it out if its the former.

So punk it steams!!! Muenster, you are correct in saying that alot of films look cool but may not meet your expectations but just the fact that the story is so unusual and the director is Snyder I'm inclined towards thinking there is mind/thought to this shiny heart.

At least it will be beautiful eye candy. This reminds me of the japanese live action film Casshern that was done a few years ago. An FX extravaganza with each shot looking like a work of art. I wasn't impressed with its story however. If you haven't seen it you can see that whole movie in pieces on Youtube,

Trailer looks awsome. But like any trailer that looks that great, I always worry that the story will be crap. Im sorry but at this point eye candy is not enough to keep me interested.

Monkeyfoot, the only reason I watched Cashern Sins was for the artwork. That and the name of the antagonist (Breaking Boss) was just pure engrish genius. Hey, speaking of "reason", that's was the title of the theme song, as performed by KANA.

If you like exceptional artwork in Japanese animaton I suggest, Katangatari and House of Five Leaves.
