Nah disagree, it's a great movie.  Pretty much rewatchable whenever it comes on.  It's a great build up to escaping with the plane. 

OMG I loved this movie when it came out. Lots of tension and edge of your seats moment through out.

One of my fave Eastwood films ever. It was really cool to see him without a chimp, a cowboy hat or a .44 magnum for once

And Admiral Piett is the Soviet General!

I enjoyed Firefox. I thought it was nice departure from Eastwood's usual fare at that time. I still say they need to get that "Batman Beyond" movie rolling with Eastwood as the aging Bruce Wayne. He'd be perfect!

Ah shut up, this is a good movie

I've only watched this movie a couple of times from start to finish many years ago. As he stated, I find most of the movie too boring and slow. When it pops up on cable I'll only watch the last half-hour of plane action and none of the beginning at all.

Ah the quaint 80s.  When we had delusions that voice commands were faster and more efficient than joysticks and buttons.
