Oh hell, the name of the movie didn't ring a bell, but getting closer look at the picture and seeing the buggies, brought it all back.  I remember drawing the crap out of the buggies with the stripes during elementary school.  Oh lord.

I just found some clips on Youtube There's crap & then there's crap. This movie is somehow crappier than both crap & crap. The flying motorcycle scene at the end...i may be traumatized for life.

OMG!!  I had forgotten about this movie!!  I freakin LOVED it when I had it on VHS, recorded off of HBO back in the day!!

HUGE props to you, Rob, for digging this one up!!

I recall some reviewer, probably Cinefantastique, who wrote that Megaforce was made for entry-level human beings.

jppintar, Smokey and the Bandit II was Shakespear compared to Smokey and the Bandit III.

Well, yeah, it is a kid's movie, hence "entry-level human beings", which was obvious even then as a kid when I saw it.  I mean, it was advertised in G.I. Joe comics, whose popularity it was trying to cash in on, and during cartoons.

marcd30319>>>>>.  "entry-level human beings" LMFAO on that term!!  So you are saying that even monkeys would say this movie was beyond crap?!?  But would they throw their own feces at the screen if they were forced to watch this movie or just be too dumbstruck by the sheer craptacularness that is Megaforce!?!

I too remember seeing this movie when I was 11 and man what a letdown.  I kept hoping to see Persis khambatta with less on but sadly I was dissapointed....typical for that age!!!

I saw this.  As an 11 year old it was pretty fun and yet even then i knew it wasn't very good.  I forgot it existed.  WOW, now I want to see it again, or at least watch part of it.

I found the dvd at a comicon and being a fan of bad films put it in that night, and I couldn't get past the first 30 minutes.

This trailer always makes me smile. I would 100% purchase this if it came out on DVD; this type of cheese is right up my alley. Maybe VHS preservation society has it. I'll have to look.
