Summit Entertainment has passed along to media outlets a decent little widget for their upcoming Twilight. The widget includes 3 videos (trailer, the Ballet scene and a featurette from the New York Comic Con), a photo gallery and an E-Card service. The first adaptation of the Stephenie Meyer teen vampire novels stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Justin Chon, Anna Kendrick, Rachelle Lefevre, Nikki Reed, Cam Cigandet, Michael Welch, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Christian Serratos. Director Catherine Hardwicke led the production, based on a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg.

Plot Summary: Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she's ever met. Intelligent and witty, he sees straight into her soul. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than a mountain lion, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands – and he hasn’t aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn’t have fangs, and he doesn’t drink human blood; Edward and his family are unique among vampires in their lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre), the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her?

Twilight will hit theaters Dec. 12, 2008.

I'll pass on this one even though I love vampire movies.

Why must every vampire or werewolf movie with a young cast these days have a Romeo & Juliet tone? This is like Blood & Chocolate and like 20 other movies I can name. I also love vampire flicks but come on. This also reminds me of that CBS show about the werevolves, minus, the hot Mia Kirshner.

I'm not big on vampire movies, but my wife has read the books and really liked them. She is looking forward to seeing the movie when it comes out.

Yes, but it does have the hot Kristen Stewart ponyboy. Still, probably not worth seeing.

The trailer doesn't inspire me... and neither do those Napkins nor the Dinnerware sets under... uh-hem... Related Products. I suppose if there were a movie called The Dead Always Rise on Summer's Eve, we'd be assaulted with feminine hygiene products. But at least there aren't popups anymore.
