Thanks for that ''Lancedenier''.

Yes I'm biased to Marvel but, in this particular circomstance, i actually do believe that the characters chosen for Marvel are just too strong and that it would end up being a football match where yes, it wouldn't be easy but, the powers of Silver Surfer, Hulk and Thor are just too strong for most of the DC rooster.

I like DC too and love Captain Marvel and in my view, he's the best asset DC would have in this match but, Marvel has Thor, Hulk and Juggernaut....it's too much for Supe, green Lantern and Doomsday.

Being that it would be a team efforts and the coaches would make a difference, having Cap run the team with Xavier's mental powers, it would be too fast for DC and Flash could follow but wouldn't be able to hurt the tackle line.

But it's just me....but thanks for that ''Lancedenier''.

This coming from a Marvel Zombie - I will admit that by in large the power set of the DCU is certainly higher than that in the MarvelU.

Questioning us 'Zombies' on our knowledge of DC or football is ridiculous.  Just like football, which I am aware of, everyone here would have a favorite team!  If I like Marvel more than DC, then why wouldn't I cheer for Marvel and make a case for Marvel winning?  Just like any good DC fan can make a legitimate argument for their team.

Have fun guys!  Oh, and make mine Marvel!!!

You gotta imagine the Marvel D is going to play dirty (they are villains) so they've done their game film studying of DC and they know how to slow down Superman. But once when Flash gets the ball, he's tough to catch. But Nightcrawler is getting them points back.  This game favors the lil' guys.

I'd have to swap Blob and Hulk. The blob is immovable when he sets his feet, that would be more useful stopping a pass rush than impeding a shifty running back. And speaking of pass rush...The Hulk and Juggs coming at ya, I'd never wanna be in the middle of that collapsing pocket.

Both teams have a devastating QB/wide receiver option that would make the secondary irrelevant. Marvel puts Bullseye at QB and Vision at wide out, while DC places Deadshot under center and Martian Manhunter wide. The strategy would be the same in both examples. A quarterback that does not miss throwing to a wide receiver who can phase through the defense if the are in the way of his route. Marvel may get a slight advantage here because Vision is an android so his routes would always be perfect, Bullseye would just have to throw the ball where he's supposed to be.

Y'know, you don't have to do this as a formal game.  Just do it as a pick-up sort of thing.  No hoopla and big stadiums and uniforms, just a field and shirts versus skins.  Marvel can be shirts.

Actually, Nightcrawler as a cornerback would be brutal.  Technically, couldn't he just BAMF! at the right moment & always intercept?  BTW, I'm more of a DC slappy & think between the Superman / Flash combo it'd pretty much be a wrap.  Sure both teams have strength, but you have to be fast enough to use to actually get a hand on someone.

Also, why didn't anyone ever think to use the Invisible Woman as a backup QB.  She'd always make perfect quarterback sneaks.

the game would come down to this.  Whoever wins the coin toss wins. Because if marvel recieves then BAMF touchdown and dc would score with a supe to flash combo every drive.  then kick it off and BAMF touchdown. Rinse repeat

dc has the better coaching staff. very surprised reed richards didn't make the cut on the coaching staff. gladiator shouldve been a linebacker too.

Rob, I enjoyed this article, and I have to point out that another site has BLATANTLY ripped you off. Now I know imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, BUT c’mon, they even used toy images... Lame

I called them out on it, and they edited my post off the board...

Comics Alliance is a pretentious piece of crap site...

I don’t recommend anyone going to it, UNLESS you go to the “Superhero Superbowl” RIPOFF article and call them out!!!

if your interested in defending Rob’s (questionable) honor here’s a link

With Batman as head-coach, my money is on DC!
