Don't expect to see this video staying out there too long considering what it is, but if you're a fan of Superman and especially him in his animated form, animator Rob Pratt who has worked on Kim Possible and Pocahontas has made a short video that blends a few different styles and a good bit of Fleischer to it to produce a Superman animated clip that should delight many fans. And give call to some sort of animated production of this nature to be tried to see if it can be commercially successful as well.

Very cool indeed. I love those old toons as well and I'm a big fan of the retro sci/fi stuff. Reminded me a lot of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow which I love.
Maybe it's time DC went ahead with a new Superman series, God knows we've gotten more than our share of Batman

Wiseguy - Sky Caption was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the robots.
That was an awesome short and it would be really cool to see a series made in that style. With Tim Daly of course (nothing against Superboy).
Come on CW pick this up and make up for Smallville!

If you haven't seen the Fleischer Superman Cartoons I highly recommend them. It would be nice to see the new live action film incorporate some of the atmospherics from this cartoon.
My favorite part was how Superman picked up the toy robot, handed it to the boy and flashed him a quick smile.
Maybe it's me, but we don't seem to see that type of Superman in the comics or in the animated movies or shows lately and that's just sad.
