There was a Superman elseworld where he is old and I believe he has long grey beard and grey hair. It is kind of strange and has to do with clones. By far the best aged superman story is Kingdom come. With Zack Snyder doing a Superman movie, would people really want to see a green screen movie?

Also huge props for releasing the animated movies DC has over the last few years. Decent quality animation and story telling. There must has also be a somewhat decent bottom line for WB since they have really started to churn them out. So heres hoping for a few more. A halloween version of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_%26_Dracula:_Red_Rain would be nice.

Ok, I can see not using that opening, even if it did have my favorite scene..  Just didn't fit the mood very well.

Off this list I'd say Duncan Jones.  If he takes the film it will be like similar to when Nolan took on Batman.  I'm telling you peeps right now Duncan Jones's next flick, Source Code, is gonna be money.

Tony Scott (also did Top Gun).  Superman in a dogfight! LOL

Yes, whoever mentioned Michael Bey was right.. you're an idiot for suggesting it.. "He makes great action films, understands special effects and is great at iconic imagery.."  Yeah, but that's ALL he understands. He knows nothing about dialogue, story, or the human element.  Anyone can do CGI and blow up cars. That means nothing.  That's exactly what you DON'T want, is someone who relies completely on CGI. The original Superman was based heavily on wire-work flying sequences. To this day, those scenes still look more believable.

Don't underestimate some Duncan Jones. Like my boy Hanso said, Source Code is going to be the s$#@!!!! Besides this is exactly what everyone thought when Nolan was handed over batman. At of all listed Jones just seems to be the director that can balance the story and action. Call me crazy. I guess we can have a better judgement after Source Code comes out but from what I've seen he seems like the man for the job. I won't think anyone's dumb for suggesting Michael Bay but I personally think that guy is the worst director. I don't even think he directs action all that well. Now James Cameron can direct some bodacious action scenes. Bay just blows shit up, that's not superman. But having said that I respect your opinion. I just hope Bay doesn't get involved in the slightest.

Batman 3, 2012 bitches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ZACH SNYDER FOR SUPERMAN DAMNIT!!!

I think that Zack Snyder would be a good choice. He handles comic adaptations very well.

Funny alternate intro for Iron Man 2. :P

Ah, so Mary Jane will be in the new Spider-Man movie after all. When you think about it, why would they bother excluding her? People are too familiar with her. I just hope Emma Roberts gets that part. She'd make an excellent Mary Jane, much better than Kirsten Dunst's weeping and moody interpretation. Emma has the right personality for it, as MJ was always more confident than what we saw in the last three Spider-Man movies.
