Australia's "The Northern Daily Leader" has published a short article about the cast and crew of SUPERMAN RETURNS arriving in Breeza, Australia to begin filming the new Bryan Singer movie. There is a single photo included with the article of the cast and crew exiting their plane Tamworth Airport.

SUPERMAN RETURNS' producer Chris Lee said the cast and crew were all looking forward to filming in the area. "We're here to film for a couple of weeks. Everyone involved in the film is very excited about filming in this area."

Filming will involve Brandon Routh and Eva Marie Saint, who portrays Clark Kent's adoptive mother Martha, on the Kent farm set. Latino Review has posted a few aerial shots of a crash scene along with a shot of the farm. They also posted a minor spoiler on their site revolving around Superman's costume.

Awesome shot of the crash landing is it Superman or Doomsday. The burn trail is awesome it looks like Warner's found a use for the Catwoman DVDs and tapes that no one wants.

If you look at the farm, it's laid out the same as in the first movie as well. I do recall reading it's set in the same continuity (the movie series rather than the comics) and that it ignores Superman 3 and 4.....

why the hell you bashing halle just bash the crap movie she made.

Actually it's not supposed to be set in the same continuity. It just uses the last Superman films as sort of a vague history. He doesn't want to walk over those mythos and he also doesn't want to walk over Smallville's mythos. With that said, I can't help but feel that Bryan Singer has lied to many of us with the choices I've heard. Vague History my ass.

All I'm pretty sure my fears will be put to rest when the new film comes out. I just don't want a continuation of the old Superman movies. I wan't something different.

hmmm...wonder if he's going to reference the original Logan's Run when he remakes that as well? He could film it in that same mall and use old footage of Farrah before all the bad plastic surgeries.
