SuperBOY Returns! Man did they really pump the likeness of Routhe up for this. If he actually had a hint of that physique I would feel alot better. But as it stands, he's a scrawny welp.

I like the pose. I like the color (although the colors look different than the photos I've seen). BUT, post #1 is correct, Routh does not LOOK LIKe SUPERMAN! he looks like SuperBOY! The movie is supposed to take place sometime after Superman II. Big Blue has saved the world and beaten three Kryptonian bad guys. Shouldn't he have the gait and presence of someone who knows he's the most powerful being in the universe? Instead, from the images and footage I've seen, Superman looks and moves like a kid. He needs to exude power! that being said...I still can't wait to see this movie!

It's more like SuperMAN in floating state vs in flight. Other than that it looks cool. At least you plan on seeing the film Wes instead of not even giving it a chance.

I predict 80 Million box office 1st weekend.

More like SuperBOY in floating state. Anyway, while I'm not totally flat out excited about the flim, I'll give it a chance and eventually go see it.

Iracors, If Routh looked like this statue I'd buy him being Superman. I don't needs Supes to be musclebound, but he needs to be powerful and Routh isn't. Christopher Reeve didn't look like a powerlifter, but he carried himself like he was the strongest person on Earth; his jawline and facial characteristics spoke of hidden power. Routh looks like he's a frat boy headed for a Halloween party (which, from what I understand is kind of similar to what got him noticed...he dressed as Clark Kent for a party). I think opening weekend box office will surpass $100 million.

Routh is really beefed up in this statue. Let the comparisons begin Reeve vs Routh. In my opinion, it looks like SuperBOY. Bad casting job there Singer. By the way, X-men casting was off too. Rogue, Iceman, Pyro (All too young), Wolverine (too tall), acting good but casting bad in Magneto, sorry Sir Ian. All bad, Superman will not be what it was with this Routh kid.

I don't care about the story anymore, at this point, I just hope that IF they do show the Fortress of Solitude they show alien menagerie,oh, I WOULD LOOK FORWARD TO THIS, MORE THAN ANYTHING.

$150 for what looks like a cheap piece of plastic. At last add some shading

Well guys at least give the guy a chance, have you seen the movie? for me doesnīt look as Superboy, and well I remember when Christopher Reeve did the first Superman lots of people were complaining that he was too young for the role and didnīt look as George Reeves the other "older" Superman from the fifities. I like the heroic pose.
