It's more like Superman Recycled....this guy who plays Superman looks like he's about to face a firing squad.

The teaser was great, and to hear Brando's voice was awesome.

This Trailer was Fantastic. Hit me with so much Nostalgia, i almost cried. I was Immediately brought back to the days when i was a kid, when my Father brought me to see the First Superman movie. Bryan Singer was very astute to bring home these old memories. He is an excellent director, and their will be the pessimistic nay sayers who drab on with witless prattle, but mark my words. This will be one of the Biggest Movie's next Year.

SuperBOY returns is more like it. I still say Routhe was a bad choice. Too wet behind the ears and too scrawny. I stand by my opinion that Superman should be a hell of a lot more chisled and mature and should not be played by an actor that seems right at home on crap shows like Dawson's Creek or the O.C. The teaser had some beautiful imagery but still left much to be desired. And I think attempting to tie this film to the original is a BAD idea. It just doesn't make sense that all of a sudden Superman and Lois are now practically in their teens! I'm sure its going to be big next year anyway, but I for one am not very impressed.

"mark my words. This will be one of the Biggest Movie's next Year." boy you really went out on a limb there fella. Of course it will be, it is a Superman movie. That is like saying that a Star Wars or Spider-Man movie would be a hit.

To people like Renderman72 who want to call Routh 'Superboy', keep in mind he is older than Christopher Reeve was in the first Superman film. And there is value in starting with a young actor who can do many sequels before getting old. But naysayers like Renderman don't have to go see the film. I'm sure you won't go...right??

To people like nrollins, keep in mind that Christopher Reeve was over 6 feet tall and had some good muscular definition. And he LOOKED much older than his actual age. While there is value in starting with a young actor, there is no value in getting a scrawny welp to play the MAN OF STEEL. While I disagree with the direction this film is going in, I will probably go and check it out anyway. I just think a more mature and physically defined actor should have been chosen to play the last son of Krypton. Some one reminicent of the Superman depicted in the paintings of Alex Ross.

oh and I'm not a naysayer...I just have an opinion.

Well, this teaser definitely has me wanting to see more. I'm still not sold on Routh either, but I think it could work. If Michael Keaton could pull off Batman, Routh can certainly work as Superman. I'll wait for some real trailers that show us a little more Supes so I can actually get a better idea of how he looks in the part. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed because I could definitely go for two straight summers of awesome DC hero movies.

Routh is so skinny he makes Tobey Mcguire look like the Incredible Hulk. Two straight summers of Batman Bores to Superman Recycled yippee!
