WTF happened to the DC animation crew?  WHAT?  :(  So sad, so very very sad.  I was going to get this but now, not so much.  This is lame.

Honestly, it was better than that other recent Superman cartoon. Yeah, Braniac basically having a brain fart because Superman had the presence of mind to take him from his ship and put him in a swamp? Lame resolution. The sequences with Supergirl were great. I liked her attitude and vigilante-esque take on the bad guys. Sounds like Batman would be a good mentor.

The relational back and forth between Supes and Lois didn't bother me anywhere near as much as the reviewer. Lois is a feisty woman. She's not exactly a bastion of warmth. Of course she's gonna give Supes some spice. That's her personality. Yeah, I'd never choose a woman like that, but for decades Clark has loved this woman for one reason or another and he puts up with her sass. Seemed perfectly in character.

I guess I will watch it when it gets to Netflix then.

I enjoyed it, but it certainly wasnt one of their better ones and it may be my least favorite of all the DC animated movies. But I wonder if this movie seems especially bad becasue it followed "The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 and 2."  the best of the DC animated movies. (followed by Wonder Woman and Red Hood)

@calamityJ- are you referring to Superman vs. the Elite? because I thought that one was very well done. The character designs were the only problem with that one.

Nah, Superman vs the Elite was great. No, sorry, I couldn't remember the name of it, but I looked it up on Netflix. It was All-Star Superman. It's the only DC animated flick I don't own because it was BORING. bla bla bla... we should make a top 10 list of best DC animated flicks. I think Green Lantern: Emerald Knights would be near the top for me. Superman/Batman: Apocalypse was superb and probably the best animated hands down. Also loved Batman: Under the Red Hood and Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. The DKR 1 & 2 were good, but I wouldn't rank them above any of the ones I just mentioned.

This was pretty lame.  The worst part was how slow superman was.  So many times he stopped and stared and paused when he should of cleaned the floor up with Brainiac.  I mean it's not like he just became Superman.  By now he should know how powerful he is and smashed Brainiac to pieces.  And dont get me started on how little he seemed to care about all the other bottled cities that Brainiac had stored on his ship.  He only seemed to care about Kandor when he was tearing apart the ship.  I rank this as the bottom of the barrell and DC needs to get its stuff back together because thier animated films where all the had over Marvel.
