SUPERMAN VS DOOMSDAY Trailer Online

The trailer for the upcoming SUPERMAN VS DOOMSDAY movie has hit the net this afternoon. The movie is based off the best selling Superman comics of all time, THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN.

It hits DVD shelves on September 18.

Story Description: When Lexcorp accidentally unearths the intergalactic serial killer Doomsday, Superman battles the creature head on in the fight of his life…literally. The world collectively mourns their fallen hero; humanity realizes it will never feel truly safe again. Superman’s enemies rejoice – all but Lex Luthor, who grieves the loss in his own demented manner, setting off a chilling chain of events that even he couldn’t have foreseen. Inspired by the bestselling graphic novel of all time, DC Comics' The Death of Superman, this feature-length animated movie boasts exciting action sequences that rivals anything you’ve ever seen starring the Man of Steel.

It looks cool but I am not big on cartoons anymore...I think a CG version of this would look and come off really well, that's what I would like to see...

This is a OLD Trailer, this was released to the public back in march of 2007, posted by AINTITCOOL. So you are WAY off the mark here Mania .. .

I love this story, and THIS is the story I would rather have seen played out on the BIG SCREEN in LIVE ACTION, rather than a rehash of the first movie, only cool part of Superman Returns was the Plane rescue, the rest was just rehash...... HELL I wrote my own script on what it would look like for the big screen, and it would involve all elements from the original story, including the introduction of the 4 Supermen.

DAMN I hope they do that in here for this cartoon, i will be buying it

old or new, I'd never seen it... possibly because I dont read (or trust) anything from Aint It Cool News.

it appears as if Superman does die in the middle of the flick, then there is the black costume Superman (watch the Sizzle reel) saying "over my dead body" and he has the long hair and black costume. dont know if they'll go into te 4 supermen... possible... who knows.
this could even top Batman Mask of the Phantasm

Not wanting to rain on anyone's parade here. At all.

But what am I not getting about Death of Superman? I really didn't like it, and that trailer didn't change my mind at all.

Yeah, thanks almostunbiased, it was a joke. Kinda obvious Superman's gonna die in a movie called "Superman Vs. Doomsday." I may be mistaken, but I think this movie is based off an old comic story from the 90s. I'm not positive though...

Doomsday was already in the tv series. Now they are ignoring it? If you are going to ignore it you have to at least change the animi.
