 Mmmmm.... Diane Lane = Supermilf.

The cast is shaping up to potentially have some strong B /A- list cast members.  That's good, but if there's no script, no decent villain, and no serious ass-kicking, it'll just be another disappointment.  But the casting at least suggests that WB is taking this seriously, and learning from the successes of Marvel and the last two Batman films.

 I could see her as playing his mom in present day OR in flashbacks.  Cavill looks pretty young so maybe the movie takes place when he first starts out as Superman.

And yes...a MILF indeed!

I don't see Diane Lane as Martha Kent. She's way too hot to be motherly. She's a great actress, but to me, Ma Kent may be a former babe, but not a milf. 

I can see her playing Martha as a 47 year old woman who could never have a child of her own, and finding baby Kal would be a blessing. (That's how I always saw this character.)

In flashbacks, sure, but I'd much rather she be an old lady like Superman returns, Eva Marie Saint or Spiderman's Rosemary Harris.

Younger is better I guess for the latest Hollywood "trend".
