SUPERMAN's Ottman to receive Career Achievement Award

Composer John Ottman will be honored at the Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival on a black-tie gala on September 17. He will receive the Outstanding Career Achievement Award for his work on films such as THE USUAL SUSPECTS, KISS KISS BANG BANG, X2, FANTASTIC FOUR, SUPERMAN RETURNS and APT PUPIL. At the age of 42, the versatile Ottman, who is also working as a film editor, has scored more than 25 feature films, and he has also in fact directed one, URBAN LEGENDS: FINAL CUT. His next assignments are NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM and FANTASTIC FOUR 2.

Dionne Warwick has been announced as the recipient of the festival's Lifetime Career Achievement Award.
