I can't wait to see Cass' "bad cop" on the next episode.

As much as I love Supernatural, I think it's about time that the writers/producers start to bring the series to a close. This season should end with the WInchesters and Cass finally kicking Crowley and all the demons back to hell and closing the gates, and getting a face-to-face with God before riding off into the sunset to lead normal lives.
That probably should have happened with Season 5, Moz, but with the exception of Season 6's premier, I think it's still just as good as it ever was. If I thought it was starting to go the way that Smallville season 8 did, I would totally agree with you, but I think the stories are still solid. I've heard this current track they're on will take them to Season 10...hopefully they don't lose it along the way.
When I saw that Mrs. Tran had that demon trussed up in the trunk of her car, I realize that's she's one of the most awesome characters they've ever had on this show.
Interesting mention of Chuck, though none of the characters noted that Chuck's role as prophet was completely different that Kevin's. I can't help but wonder if that difference is going to play a role in the future, given that one of the plot points of this episode was the premise that any of the would-be prophets would simply step into Kevin's role, like changing out one cog with another.
The implication at the end of Season Five was that OLD SPOILERS! Chuck was God, but someone on another site wondered if Chuck might have been Metatron. It's an interesting theory, and would go some way to explaining that postscript on the tablet got discussed.
Now we're back on track. This was a great ep.
